IFR ATC600A Transponder Test Set

The IFR ATC-600A is a completely self-contained unit designed to provide accurate Transponder/DME measurements on ramp or at the bench. Compact, mini in size and weight, this portable Test Set permits simulation of the ground station and airborne environment. Meets latest ARINC specifications and FAA regulations (91.177 and 43 appendix F as amended December, 1973) concerning transponder receiver sensitivity and SLS tests.

Transponder tests allow quick determination of transmitter power, frequency, percent reply, pilot's code and encoded altitude. Variable-spaced interrogations and reply framing timing checks are also provided.

DME testing capabilities include accurate range and velocity simulation, power and frequency, and PRF measurements.
